Please go here (Check list page) and print this checklist and use it to check your tracing or we cannot guarantee your results.

Its very easy if you follow each step.

 

Note:

It is important to have a single line tracing following the instructions or we cannot guarantee your fit.

It is not highly accurate but needs to be done with pencil straight as possible.

I-Beam Tracing Checklist

1# Use No#2 Pencil to trace your guitar with.

2# Trace whole guitar with headstock 1 single line.

3# Note on tracing how thick the body is. (no knobs , switches or bridge)

4# Note on tracing if your guitar is a flat top or arch top.

5# Note on tracing if your guitar is a flat bottom or arch back.

6# Note on tracing the position of the strap locks.

7# Note on tracing the colors you want for inside case

8# Note on tracing the colors you want on outside of case (If you purchased a Handcrafted case)

 

Neck Rest Measurments (Flat backed body head stock is off table)

1# Lay guitar on flat table top

2 # If you guitar body is held up by headstock don't use these directions go to next set of directions.

3# With body laying flat on table measure the 3 locations for neck rest.

 

Neck Rest Measurments (Flat backed body head stock Holds body off table)

1# With guitar laying flat on table and headstock hanging over table take the 3 neck measurments for neck rest

2# Then with head stock touching table holding body up take the 3 measurments again.

3# This tells us the angle the guitar has to lay in the case to be supported all the way down

4# If your guitar has a straplock on back of guitar take staplock off and do measurments, then mark how far staplock sticks out.
